Ellen grew up in Cambridge and went on to study Dentistry at the University of Bristol, qualifying in 2000. After first working in Somerset, Ellen was awarded hospital posts at The Royal United Hospital in Bath in 2002 and The Royal London Hospital in 2004, gaining expertise in restorative dentistry and oral medicine. During this time Ellen undertook a period of further study and was granted Membership of the Faculty of Dentals Surgeons (MFDS).
Since relocating to Oxford in 2005 Ellen has worked in private practice in Wantage over the last 12 years. As well as offering the full range of general dental procedures she has particular interests in the restoration of dental implants, adult orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry.
Outside her professional life, Ellen is married to Ollie, a Professor of Cardiology at the John Radcliffe Hospital, and is kept busy caring for her two young children Toby and Tilly. In any remaining time Ellen keeps fit in the gym and with cross country running.
